How to Train Your Dragon is a 2025 American fantasy film co-produced, written for the screen, and directed by Dean DeBlois. It is a live-action remake of the 2010 animated film of the same name produced by Dream Works Animation, itself loosely based on the 2003 novel of the same name by Cressida Cowell. The film stars Mason Thames, Nico Parker, Nick Frost, Julian Dennison, Gabriel Howell, Bronwyn James, Harry Trevaldwyn, Ruth Codd, Peter Serafinowicz, and Murray McArthur, with Gerard Butler reprising his role as Stoick the Vast from the animated films. It is the first live-action production from Dream Works Animation, as well as its first production to be a remake.

Story Line
